Interview questions
Ask a trusted adult: What was this neighbourhood or village like when you were younger? Which roads, schools, markets or occupations have changed? What event do you remember clearly? Ask permission before recording.
Check the evidence
Write the speaker’s name only with permission, the interview date and the main claims. Compare the account with a photograph, map, school record, newspaper or a second interview where possible.
Conclusion task
Write five sentences explaining one community change. Separate what the speaker remembered from what another source helped you confirm. Do not assume one person’s memory represents everybody.
